ProofMe

ProofMe Privacy Policy

ProofMe is provided by Thanabordee Nammungkhun, based in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. This policy describes how data is processed in the current ProofMe app.

Local-first processing and conditional ProofMe Cloud

In the current public release, video files, audio, preview images, and evidence data created on the device stay primarily on your device. Camera, microphone, and label reading run on-device. You decide whether to export or share a file.

ProofMe Cloud and share links are conditional capabilities. They may be available only when the app release, plan, and account entitlement support them, and when you choose to enable or use them; Cloud is not active for every user by default. If you enable Cloud, video, audio, preview images, and related evidence metadata may be sent to Supabase/Postgres and Cloudflare R2 for backup, search, or a share link at your direction. Workspace/team data and access permissions are processed only when that feature is enabled.

Data we process

Purposes and disclosure

We use data to provide the account and features you choose, keep the service secure, measure product usage to improve it, and resolve support issues. We do not sell personal data, use it for cross-service advertising, or use shop videos to train models. We disclose data to providers in the roles described on the Subprocessors page and when you direct us to share it.

Retention and security

Local files remain until you delete them, uninstall the app, or clear app data. Uninstalling or clearing data can make local files and history unavailable, and we cannot recover them. Cloud data, if any, is governed by the release and plan that you enabled; this page does not promise a fixed quota or retention period. Evidence subject to a Problem Case, Evidence Hold, an active share link, or legal, security, audit, fraud-prevention, or dispute obligations may be retained as necessary.

Data in transit uses HTTPS/TLS. Cloud access uses the account and Workspace permissions configured for the service. We may retain usage, account, billing, audit, and security records as needed for the service, law, fraud prevention, or dispute handling; no fixed period is promised here.

Deletion and user rights

You can delete clips in the app. Account holders can delete an account from Account & Security. Cloud account deletion removes account and profile data, owned shops/Workspaces, data linked to the account, and Cloud video or preview objects the system can access. It does not delete videos stored on your device; delete those yourself in the app.

The system may refuse or delay account deletion when an active Evidence Hold or Problem Case/dispute requires evidence to be preserved, or when law, security, fraud prevention, or an investigation requires retention. Deleting a ProofMe account does not automatically cancel a Google Play or Apple subscription; cancel it separately in the relevant Store.

You may request access, correction, objection, or deletion under applicable law. If you cannot use the app, email [email protected]. The current canonical source states that external deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to the exceptions above.
