ProofMe Account Deletion

This page is provided for Google Play and other account-deletion requests. Read the Thai privacy policy or English privacy policy for broader processing details.

Delete in the app

1. Open ProofMe and sign in if you use an account. 2. Open Account & Security in the account/Cloud area. 3. Choose Delete ProofMe account (or Delete ProofMe Cloud account when Cloud is enabled), confirm the warning, and complete the in-app confirmation.

The current Main implementation calls the account deletion function with an explicit confirmation. It finds shops owned by the account, checks for active or scheduled-release Evidence Holds, removes accessible recording objects and thumbnails from Cloud storage, deletes owned shops/Workspace data, and deletes the authentication account. On success the app signs out locally.

What is deleted and what is not

When Cloud is enabled, the account deletion path is intended to remove account/profile data, owned shops/Workspaces, share-link and Cloud data tied to those shops, and accessible video/thumbnail objects. The exact database cascade is controlled by the Main service schema.

Local videos and local evidence history are not deleted by account deletion. Delete those files from the app/device yourself. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data can also remove local files, and ProofMe cannot restore them.

Deleting an account does not cancel a Google Play or Apple subscription. Cancel an active Store subscription separately in the Store account settings.

Holds, disputes, and exceptions

The in-app deletion request is blocked when an owned shop has an active or scheduled-release Evidence Hold. An open Problem Case normally creates a hold, so resolve the case through the permitted workflow first. Deletion or erasure requests can also be limited or delayed where law, security, fraud prevention, an investigation, accounting, or an active dispute requires retention. We will explain an applicable limitation when responding.

If you cannot use the app

Email [email protected] with the account email and enough information for us to verify the request. The current canonical privacy source states that external deletion requests are processed within 30 days, subject to identity verification and the exceptions above. Do not send passwords or private video files by email.
